THEME: SCIENCE FOR DEVELOPMENT: ADVANCING INDUSTRIAL PARTNERSHIPS THROUGH RESEARCH
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
On behalf of the Provost of the College of Basic and Applied Sciences (CBAS), the CBAS Research Board is pleased to announce the call for submission of abstracts for the 2020 Science and Development Platform (CBAS-SDP). The CBAS SDP is intended to provide:
- Opportunity for faculty of the College to show-case and publish their research findings;
- A forum for faculty to interact with industry and initiate collaborative ventures where industry is given space to table their questions for UG faculty to find solutions;
- Space and time for faculty from different backgrounds and disciplines to exchange ideas and forge inter-, multi-, and trans-disciplinary teams to work on joint research problems;
- Opportunity for the College to review its research agenda in order to focus research fund-raising and funds allocation on priority issues.
Abstract Submission
Abstracts shall be accepted from UG faculty and graduate students as well as researchers collaborating with UG faculty. Submissions must be based on primary research findings. Papers presented at the SDP shall be considered for publication in the CBAS Journal, Science and Development.

Maximum of 300 words in a single paragraph; please provide up to 5 Key words.
Font Size: 12 pt; Times New Roman, 1.5 spacing.
Please indicate whether the abstract submission is for poster or oral presentation.
